On November 13th, Tuyen received the result of his blood test. It was quite good. His doctors were very satisfied, and decided to give him the third chemotherapy session to cleanse all cancerous cells before the self-marrow transplant. This session would last for 5 days, from Monday until Friday. However, as the dose for this session was higher than the previous times, from the third day onwards, he felt very tired. Doctors had already told him that this session might cause more side effects, and Tuyen had also prepared mentally for that.

Last week, Mr. Tuyen had two visits to the hospital on Monday (9th October, 2006) and Wednesday (11th October 2006). The result of the test was very good, and his marrow was free from cancerous cells. Although he was suffering from high temperature during the first few days of the week, he has felt much better after taking medicine. What he needs to do now is to finish his anti-fungus medicine. The treatment next week will be very important, so doctors have advised him to eat more and rest well, do more exercise and not to sleep too much in order to have a good preparation for the upcoming chemotherapy session on Monday, 16th October 2006. Currently, he is still losing his appetite as he usually feels nausea when eating.
