(09/12/2006) Update on Mr Toan

|

After the second chemotherapy session, Mr. Toan went back to Vietnam with his family. Thanks to the good care and support from his family, he felt very well, both physically and mentally as well. He ate well and had no side effect. On December 3rd, the whole family returned to Singapore for the third chemotherapy session.

On December 4th, with the help of whole-hearted GFO members, Mr. Toan had a meeting with his doctors, a medical checkup and the third session. As in the previous sessions, Mr. Toan suffered from some side effects such as loss of appetite for food, tiredness and sleeplessness during the first few nights after the session. Unfortunately, his health was considered to be good by doctors in Gleneagles hospital, as they had predicted before.

During his meetings with doctors, GFO members were present and very willing to help him so that his treatment could go on as smoothly as possible. We also encouraged him to keep a positive attitude during the days in Singapore.

On December 9th, Mr. Toan and his family decided to come back to Vietnam (2 days ahead of schedule) as in Vietnam, the food was more appropriate so he would recover

A sincere thank to all who have helped Mr. Toan and his family during that period. Next time, GFO really hopes to receive your full support again.
